The Halal Awareness Course aims to provide a deeper understanding of the potential of the Halal market, Halal management systems and their importance in daily life and business. This course aims to raise the awareness of individuals and organisations about the prospects of the Halal market, compliance with Halal principles and ensuring that the products and services offered meet Halal standards recognised by authorities such as JAKIM.
Course participants will be familiarised with the Halal economy; the basics of Halal and Sharia compliance in Halal management; and halal certification and standards. In addition, this course will also discuss current issues and challenges faced by the industry in ensuring that their products meet strict halal requirements, including the detection of halal fraud and the role of technology in facilitating halal compliance.
This course is suitable for all levels of society, particularly business owners, managers and industry personnel involved in the provision of halal products and services, as well as those wishing to learn more about halal practises in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, financial and tourism services sectors.

The Halal economy is a fast-growing sector worldwide, encompassing industries such as food, finance, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and tourism. This training programme provides a comprehensive understanding of the Halal economy market in terms of supply and demand and the importance of Maqasid Shariah in the Halal market.
Participants will explore the key fundamentals of the Halal economy, namely an introduction to the Halal economy, the development of the halal economy based on Maqasid Shariah and the impact of supply and demand for Halal products and services on national economic growth. The programme also emphasises the role of the Halal economy in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through sustainable practises, poverty alleviation and the provision of inclusive economic opportunities.

The Halal Executive Course is a training programme developed by JAKIM to train individuals responsible for Halal management and compliance in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and related industries. This course provides participants with the halal principles, halal standards such as MS 1500:2019, HAS (Halal Assurance System) and the halal certification requirements of JAKIM and other authoritative bodies.

The JAKIM Halal Audit Course is an intensive training programme that provides a comprehensive understanding of the halal audit process based on the requirements of JAKIM and halal standards such as MS 1500:2019.
The aim of this course is to train participants to recognise halal compliance, detect non-conformities and conduct internal and external audits to ensure effective halal control in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and related product industries. This course is very important for those who are involved in halal monitoring and auditing in their respective companies to ensure compliance with JAKIM standards and other halal certification bodies.
